Afghanistan has rejected Pakistan’s ceasefire proposal. It has refused visas to Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif and ISI chief Asim Malik.
Pakistan Afghanistan Conflict: After carrying out air strikes on Afghanistan and losing dozens of soldiers in military clashes, Pakistan is trying for peace with Afghanistan. Meanwhile, on Monday, Kabul gave a big blow to Islamabad. Afghanistan rejected Pakistan’s ceasefire proposal. Along with this, the visas of Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, ISI chief Asim Malik and two other generals have been rejected.
Donald Trump said – I am expert in ending the fight
These visas were rejected on three separate occasions in the last three days. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has got the opportunity to play a role in ending the Afghanistan-Pakistan conflict. While going to Israel, Trump said,
I heard that there is a war going on between Pakistan and Afghanistan. So I decided to wait till I returned. I am moving on to another matter. Because I am skilled at resolving conflicts and making peace. It’s an honor for me to do this. I am an expert in ending wars, I am an expert in establishing peace. It’s an honor to do so.
China appeals to Pakistan and Afghanistan to maintain peace
On the other hand, China has appealed to Pakistan and Afghanistan to maintain peace. Both countries have been asked to ensure the security of Chinese citizens, projects and institutions present there. China urged to maintain restraint and peace between the two sides, saying,
Both countries are friends of China and neighbors of each other. It is in the fundamental and long-term interests of both Pakistan and Afghanistan to seek good neighborliness, promote economic and social prosperity, and jointly combat terrorism.

Pakistani soldiers lost their lives in the fight with Afghanistan
A large number of Pakistani soldiers have died in the fighting with Afghanistan. On Sunday, Pakistan Army admitted that 23 of its soldiers had lost their lives. The Pakistani army said that 200 Taliban and militants associated with them have been killed in the fighting along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. On the other hand, Taliban government’s chief spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid claimed that 58 Pakistani soldiers were killed and about 30 others were injured in the attacks.
