Cocktail 2 has broken the traditional film promotion format and stepped into something far more spectacular. For the first time, the world of the film expanded into a full-scale music festival and fan gala, spanning Mumbai, New Delhi and Pune, bringing together fans, music lovers and cinema enthusiasts under one roof in each city.
The excitement around Cocktail 2 had already reached a fever pitch before the festival began. The trailer was trending across platforms, the music was dominating Spotify and YouTube, and Mashooqa had gone off the charts, becoming a full-blown audience obsession. With Cocktail 2 emerging as one of the most talked-about cinematic events of the year, Maddock Films and Luv Films took the celebration a step further with the record-breaking Cocktail 2 Music Festival.
The result was a live cinematic universe experience unlike anything audiences had seen before. Fans got to witness all their favourite songs from Cocktail 2 performed live on stage by the original singers in a high-energy concert format, while the star cast of the film joined the celebration, interacting with fans, sharing behind-the-scenes moments and becoming part of the performances themselves.
Cocktail 2, directed by Homi Adajania, produced by Dinesh Vijan, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, and written by Tarun Jain and Luv Ranjan, releases in cinemas worldwide on June 19.
