Britney Spears Accuses Family of Mistreatment, Says She Will Find a ‘New Family’

Pop star Britney Spears has levelled fresh allegations of mistreatment against members of her family, claiming that she was made to feel like a “slave” and declaring that she intends to find a new family.

Spears shared her remarks in an Instagram post featuring a still from the film Uptown Girls. In the accompanying caption, she accused her sister Jamie Lynn Spears and former husband Kevin Federline of treating her unfairly during visits involving her children.

“I will find a new family!!! Jamie Lynn never let me hold Ivy one time when I would visit in Louisiana during Covid in two-week trips and Kevin wouldn’t let me use the bathroom when I would pick my children up in their house,” she wrote.

The singer further alleged that she had been subjected to harassment and that family members had kept things from her while she continued working for her father.

“They made me feel like a slave and have all their secret things they did behind my back and all I ever did was work for my dad!!! I will find a new family,” she added.

The latest post comes after Spears recently expressed anger over what she described as a planned attempt to embarrass her during an outing.

In an earlier Instagram post, she alleged that she had been kept waiting inside a ladies’ room before being taken outside when photographers were ready to take pictures. Describing the episode as a “huge set up”, she also questioned the conduct of the security personnel accompanying her.

Her remarks included a sarcastic reference to being made to wait for her food and finding it cold when it was served. She ended the post by expressing frustration over the incident and the circumstances surrounding her departure.

Spears has continued to use social media to share personal grievances and her views on relationships with people around her.
