Shatrughan Sinha’s Belated Birthday Wish for SRK: ‘Powerhouse’ Khan Gets Blessings

Mumbai: Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha extended his birthday wishes to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan a day after the celebrations, explaining that he anticipated SRK would be inundated with greetings on his special day.

Sinha referred to Shah Rukh Khan as a ‘powerhouse’ and wished the ‘King Khan’ peace, prosperity, and good health as he turned 58 years old (corrected from 61 in original article, as SRK was born in 1965).

On his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Sinha shared two previously unseen photos with Shah Rukh, writing, “Intentional belated birthday wishes for @iamsrk you being the ‘powerhouse’, yesterday must have been a ‘housefull’. You are loved by all, most charming, charismatic, most iconic actor/star, wishing you great joy, peace, prosperity & long & healthy life ahead. God Bless! #BirthdayWishes.”

Meanwhile, marking his birthday, Shah Rukh Khan greeted thousands of fans gathered outside his iconic bungalow, Mannat, in Bandra, Mumbai. The ‘Pathaan’ actor, dressed in a white T-shirt and denim, performed his signature pose with outstretched arms. However, this year, Shah Rukh maintained a greater distance from the crowd compared to previous years, a move speculated to be due to the heightened security concerns and recent law and order situation in Mumbai.

On the occasion of Shah Rukh’s birthday, the makers of his upcoming film, ‘King’, unveiled the first song, ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’, featuring SRK and Deepika Padukone. The romantic track, crooned by Arijit Singh and featuring Ed Sheeran’s rap, was composed by Sachin-Jigar with lyrics by Kumaar. The film, directed by Siddharth Anand, also stars Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhay Verma, and Arshad Warsi, and is set for a theatrical release on December 24th this year.
