The series features Sadie Soverall as ‘Percy Fraser’ and Matt Cornett as ‘Sam Florek’ in the lead roles.

while appearing on the Today show on June 10, 2026, revealed that he and Gavin Casalegno, who is known for his role in another Netflix adaptation, Summer I Turned Pretty, used to share a room. Matt said that they were roommates before he got into the series, Summer I Turned Pretty. Well, Matt and Gavin met over lunch, and the former revealed to the latter that he is up for the show, Every Year After.
To this, Gavin said that book fans are intense and incredible, so Matt needs to be prepared to give it his all.
