UGC NET December 2025 Exam Date: There is big news for the candidates appearing for the UGC NET December 2025 exam. National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the exam dates for UGC NET December session 2025. This examination will be conducted from 31 December 2025 to 7 January 2026. The examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode at various examination centers across the country. Candidates can check complete information by visiting the official website nta.ac.in or ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

- Last date to fill application form: 7 November 2025
- Last date for depositing exam fees: 7 November 2025
- Form Correction Window: 10th November to 12th November 2025
- Exam Date: 31 December 2025 to 7 January 2026

UGC NET Exam Pattern and Timings
UGC NET December exam will be of total duration of 3 hours and will consist of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both the papers will be objective type multiple choice questions (MCQ). A total of 150 questions will be asked in the exam. There will be no break between the two papers. The total marks weightage of the exam will be 300 marks.

The application fee for UGC NET December 2025 exam varies category wise. In which-
- General, Unreserved Category: Rs 1150
- OBC (NCL), EWS Category: Rs 600
- SC, ST, PwD, Third Gender: Rs 325
- Fees can be paid only through online mode.
