Actor Suriya’s upcoming film ‘Scene’, directed by Jithu Madhavan, has generated significant buzz with the release of its trailer. The film is set to hit theatres worldwide on November 6, coinciding with Diwali festivities.
The trailer opens with Suriya’s character, Inbaraj, a police officer, dramatically resigning from the force. He then defies his superior, Stephen (Lal), leading to a humorous sequence where officers are sent to his home to bring him in. Inbaraj’s rebellious nature is highlighted as he comically allows himself to be carried to Stephen’s office, where he declares his intention to enter politics after quitting the force.
The narrative also introduces Nazriya Nazim as Maya, who applies for a house help position advertised by Inbaraj. The trailer hints at her involvement in action sequences, suggesting a multifaceted role. The film’s antagonist, Eeswaran, played by Naslen, is portrayed as a ruthless and cunning criminal, with Inbaraj questioning if he is Eeswaran’s equal, setting up an intriguing cat-and-mouse dynamic.
Produced by Zhagaram Studios, ‘Scene’ boasts a strong technical team, with Vineeth Augustian handling cinematography and Sushin Shyam composing the music. The film, which was previously known as ‘Suriya 47’, also features John Vijay and Anandaraj in key roles, promising a blend of action, mystery, and light-hearted moments for the audience.
