Mumbai (Maharashtra): Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, known for his no-nonsense approach, returned to host Bigg Boss 20’s ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ and wasted no time in addressing contestant Scout’s controversial behavior.
This comes after Scout was previously questioned by filmmaker Rohit Shetty and his own girlfriend, Kaashvi, regarding his growing closeness with fellow contestant Love Gill and his habit of giving her massages.
Salman directly confronted Scout, questioning his loyalty. He highlighted Scout’s failure to defend Love, whom he claimed to consider ‘sister-like,’ in front of his girlfriend. “Scout, you are not loyal to anyone. The person you call a sister-like friend, you couldn’t defend her in front of your girlfriend,” Salman stated, emphasizing the apparent contradiction.
The host further pressed Scout, asking if Love was emotionally manipulating him. He then delivered a strong warning: “…a relationship is one thing, but massages are another. If you’ve made a fake commitment just to impress someone, then there’s no one worse than you.” This stern admonition underscores the show’s consistent stance against perceived duplicity and emotional games among contestants.
The controversy escalated last week when Kaashvi appeared on the show, publicly confronting Scout over his actions and accusing Love Gill of ‘trapping’ him. While Kaashvi received some support, her remarks against Love drew significant criticism online. Following the backlash, Kaashvi issued an apology on Instagram, admitting that some of her words were ‘insensitive’ and that she ‘could have expressed myself better,’ taking responsibility for the impact of her statements.
