New Delhi: Kawasaki has made the KLX230 more affordable and easier to own for riders in India. The company recently cut its price again after the new GST rates came into effect. The off-road motorcycle now costs Rs 1.84 lakh (ex-showroom). Along with the price drop, Kawasaki is also offering a new 7-year extended warranty plan for the bike.
Now buyers can have this off roader at an affordable price with a longer warranty period than it has before. However this extended warrant comes with some terms and conditions which includes additional charges for warranty extension or the terms for full bike or it for only some specific part of the bike.
Kawasaki KLX230 extended warranty plan
With the new extended warranty plan, the buyers can now enjoy a total of 10 years of warranty on the KLX230, however the bike has already come with a three-year standard warranty while now bikers have an option of a 7-year extended one. The extended plan costs Rs 2,499 and it covers both the engine and gearbox. This gives long-term protection and peace of mind to owners, especially those who often ride in tough off-road conditions.

The KLX230 uses a 233cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 19hp at 7,800rpm and 19 Nm of torque at 6,200 rpm. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox, giving smooth gear shifts for better control. The bike weighs 139 kg, which makes it light and agile for trail riding or rough terrain.
