The faces of farmers of Madhya Pradesh have brightened up due to Bhavantar Yojana. Farmers expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav by taking out a tractor rally in Depalpur and Ujjain. This government scheme for soybean producing farmers will be effective from October 24.

These days, happiness has returned on the faces of the farmers of Madhya Pradesh. The reason is the government’s Bhavantar Yojana, which has given new hope for economic relief to the farmers. The amount received under this scheme has not only reduced the problems of the farmers but has also increased their confidence. On Saturday, farmers expressed their gratitude towards Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav by taking out a massive tractor rally in Depalpur and Ujjain of Indore. When the convoy of hundreds of tractors came out of the fields and took to the streets of the city, the atmosphere became like a festival.

Farmers’ enthusiasm and trust in the government

Farmers of Depalpur said that the financial help given by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav just before the festive season is no less than a boon for them. In the rally, farmers thanked the Chief Minister through posters and banners. He said that by helping them in the time of crisis, the government has proved that the food provider of the state is never alone. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also interacted with the farmers from Sheopur district through video conferencing and assured them that the government always stands with them.

Enthusiasm seen in Ujjain too, crowd gathered on the streets

The tractor rally in Ujjain started from the agricultural produce market and reached Dussehra ground via Agar Road, Chamunda Mata Square, Freeganj Overbridge and Teen Batti Square. Farmers kept raising slogans of “Jai Kisan – Jai Madhya Pradesh Government” all the way. It was written in the banners on the tractors – “CM Yadav gave support to Bhavantar, now the farmer will no longer be a poor farmer”.

The prosperity of farmers is the progress of the state

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav believes that “the prosperity of farmers is the basis of the progress of the state.” In this spirit, the state government has implemented Bhavantar Yojana for soybean producing farmers. Under the scheme, if farmers sell their crops in the market at a price lower than the MSP, the government will compensate for this loss.

Scheme process and dates

The state government has started working rapidly in the interest of farmers.

  • Registration starts: 3rd October
  • Last date of registration: 17 October
  • Scheme effective date: From 24th October

If farmers who have registered on the e-procurement portal sell their crops at a price lower than the MSP, the government will directly deposit the difference in their account.

Government committed to the welfare of farmers

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav had recently said that “the aim of the government is to make the farmers financially strong so that any farmer can get the right price for his hard work.” Bhavantar Yojana is a big step taken in this direction, which will not only increase the income of farmers but will also strengthen the economy of the state.
