Bollywood actress Preity Zinta is observing the traditional Karwa Chauth fast for her husband, Gene Goodenough, but cloudy skies on the US East Coast have left her eagerly awaiting the moon’s appearance.
The actress, based in Los Angeles with her family, shared her concern about the moon playing ‘hide and seek’ during her fast.
Preity Zinta married financial analyst Gene Goodenough in a private ceremony in Los Angeles in February 2016. The couple welcomed their twins, Jai and Gia, via surrogacy in November 2021. Since embracing motherhood, Preity has often spoken about her evolving priorities and how she balances professional commitments with raising her children. Earlier in September, she traveled globally to ensure she was present for Jai and Gia’s first day of school, highlighting her dedication to her family.
Preity has been actively managing her personal and professional life between the United States and India, especially with her recent return to acting. She made her comeback with ‘Batwara 1947’, a period drama directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan. Additionally, she was seen in Kunal Kemmu’s spy comedy ‘Vibe’, where she played the role of Madam H, alongside Kemmu and Sparsh Shrivastava.
