Actress Keerthy Suresh has opened up about an unpleasant experience with a fan during a flight from Milan to India. While she enjoys interacting with people during her travels, she said that some people cross their limits and fail to respect her personal space. Keerthy recalled that she was travelling with her husband, Antony Thattil, who was seated on the other side of her. During the flight, a drunk man approached her and demanded a selfie. The man was struggling to stand properly, and Keerthy asked him to wait, saying that she might take a picture later. However, he refused to listen and insisted that it was okay to take a selfie immediately.
Keerthy said she had to firmly tell him that he could not decide that on her behalf. The incident also brought out a different side of her husband, who is usually very gentle with fans and people who admire her work. She recalled that it was the first time she had heard him raise his voice as he stepped in and confronted the man. The couple eventually had to seek the flight crew’s help to handle the situation. Keerthy explained that her experiences with fans are not always unpleasant. She enjoys meeting new people during flights and having conversations with them. Sometimes, people spend the entire journey talking to her without even asking for a photograph.
