Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor recently shed light on the enduring strength of his marriage with Alia Bhatt during a special Diwali episode of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’.
He emphasized that love, trust, and respect are the bedrock of any meaningful relationship.
“The foundation of our relationship, its roots, is friendship,” Ranbir stated on the popular quiz show. “I have always believed that love brings a relationship together, trust makes it stronger, and respect helps it endure. These are the important foundations.”
During his appearance alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir also shared a heartwarming detail about his daughter, Raha. He revealed that since Raha’s birth, their mornings consistently begin with Bachchan’s rendition of the ‘Hanuman Chalisa’. “Ever since my daughter Raha was born, there hasn’t been a single day when we haven’t started our morning with the Hanuman Chalisa sung by you,” Ranbir shared, much to Bachchan’s delight.
Ranbir and Alia tied the knot on April 14, 2022, in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai. Their romance blossomed on the sets of Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva’, a film that also featured Amitabh Bachchan in a significant role. The couple welcomed their daughter, Raha Kapoor, on November 6, 2022.
Currently, Ranbir is preparing for a significant role, portraying Lord Rama in Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming two-part cinematic adaptation of the epic ‘Ramayana’. The film is set to also star Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana.
