Madhya Pradesh News: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that PM Krishi Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana will write a new chapter in the field of agricultural development. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav virtually participated from Indore on Saturday in the program “Honoring food donors, building a prosperous nation” organized by the Union Agriculture Ministry in Delhi. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the program and also virtually inaugurated the state-of-the-art milk powder plant of 30 lakh tonne capacity in Indore. Prime Minister Modi also described the linking of Indore, Gwalior and other cooperative unions with PACS as historic. Modi announced two big schemes for farmers across the country
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav listened to Prime Minister Shri Modi’s address virtually from Brilliant Convention Center Indore. While discussing with the media representatives after the program, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has announced two big schemes for the farmers across the country – Pradhan Mantri Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana and Pulses Self-Reliance Mission. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that PM Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana will write a new chapter in the direction of bringing radical changes in the agricultural development of the country and its related sectors. He said that so far 50 lakh farmers have taken membership under 10 thousand FPOs in the country.

How and who will benefit from PM Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana?
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in the National Rural Agriculture Mission, certification of one lakh farmers, certification of 4275 Maitriyas, approval of more than 10 thousand multipurpose packs in computerization, inauguration and bhoomi pujan of many types of works like dairy, fish farming, animal husbandry, food processing have been done. On this occasion, Prime Minister Shri Modi also virtually inaugurated the state-of-the-art milk powder plant with a capacity of 30 lakh tonnes and cost of Rs 79 crore in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Also, Indore and Gwalior cooperative unions of the state are being linked to PACS. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav thanked Prime Minister Shri Modi for these gifts given to Madhya Pradesh.
New happiness in the lives of farmer brothers and sisters
It is noteworthy that while the Pradhan Mantri Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana and the Pulses Self-Reliance Mission will strengthen the efforts to increase production in 100 low-yielding districts of the country, the production of pulses will also increase. This special program includes development projects worth more than Rs 42,000 crore in agriculture and allied sectors. This will not only bring new prosperity in the lives of the farmer brothers and sisters of the country, but will also strengthen the resolve for a developed and self-reliant India.
After the end of the virtual program, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was warmly welcomed by the farmers of Indore district.
