Watch: KL Rahul pulls off jaw-dropping juggling catch to send Tagenarine Chanderpaul packing in Delhi Test

Ravindra Jadeja drew the second blood for India after KL Rahul held onto a sharp catch at first slip after having juggled the ball twice.

The opener, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, departed after hitting Jadeja for a huge six on the first ball.

Even the Indians have struggled to pick wickets very easily in the second Test, unlike they did in the first match of the series in Ahmedabad, where the visitors were dismissed for less than 200 in both of their batting innings. However, this track looks more batting-friendly as there is nothing to help the bowlers.

KL Rahul takes a sharp catch at first slip

Ravindra Jadeja did not get to have a go with the bat this time around in Delhi, after he scored an unbeaten hundred and picked four wickets in the previous game. Instead, Nitish Kumar Reddy was promoted up the order; however, Jadeja can never be kept out of the game.

This time around, he delivered with the ball in hand. On the third ball of the 28th over that Jadeja bowled to the West Indies opener Tagenarine Chanderpaul, it spun back a little and angled towards the batter’s edge. The ball got stopped as Chanderpaul pressed forward, and the ball went flying to KL Rahul at first slip.

The batter, known for his reflexes, almost dropped it, having fumbled on his first attempt, but he held his nerve and lobbed the ball in the second attempt, only to grab it nicely in the third. Chanderpaul was dismissed, and Jadeja bagged his second wicket.

Kuldeep Yadav gets a wicket; Set batter Alick Athanaze has to walk back

After the first two dismissals from Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav joins the party to dismiss the most set batter in the West Indies lineup. Alick Athanaze has shown great resistance on Day 2 of the second Test; however, his resistance came to an end in the 33rd over of the game.

With Kuldeep Yadav bowling to the left-handed batter after a brief pause, Athanaze loses his control as he gets lured by the sight of the spinner. He had done all the hard work but then just threw away his wicket in a soft dismissal.

The batter slog-swept a full delivery from Kuldeep Yadav, but the ball dipped onto him and hence the aerial shot finds no elevation, as Ravindra Jadeja pouches on the ball and contributes to the fall of another wicket.

Ravindra Jadeja, in the thick of action, gets his Third for the Day

Wicket after Wicket for the Indian spinners. Ravindra Jadeja is in red-hot form as he picks his third for the Day with another soft dismissal of the West Indian skipper Roston Chase. Chase came in to bat at no. 5 and was dismissed for a duck.

Jadeja tossed one up nicely on middle and leg; the ball pitches and drifts in across the right-hander. Chase looks to stir it to the leg side, leaning forward and simply gets late to play the ball as he scoops it back for a simple return catch to the bowler. Jadeja could not make any mistake there as he holds onto the simple return catch.
