Kriti Sanon recently appeared on ‘s show, What Women Want, where she confessed that she doesn’t give attention to trolls. However, she sometimes feels that one needs to give them back if the things get out of control. While speaking about the Raksha Bandhan ad controversy, Kriti said, “This is something that actually happened recently where my choli became the national debate. I couldn’t believe that my choli had become a six-people panel discussion on prime-time news. I was like, ‘What is going on?’”
mentioned that the issue was not about her but about being scrutinised by the society for everythig. She stated, “I felt like women are under scrutiny for everything, and it is only women who get targeted for the smallest thing. The amount of hate that happens. What’s with the hate?” The actress also slammed the trolls for their nasty comments about her and her parents.

She mentioned, “People who were talking about culture and respect were ironically the ones who were commenting on my parents’ posts and sister’s posts with the nastiest abusive language. They read all these things. What have they done?”
Kriti feels women need to stand up for themselves. According to her, nobody has a right to judge or comment any woman’s behaviour and personality. She concluded her statement by saying, “What women actually want is to not be judged and for people to actually mind their own business.”
When the controversy had happened, Kriti Sanon’s sister Nupur Sanon also defended her on social media. She had engaged in a war of words with Kangana.
