PM Modi’s Varanasi schedule
In Varanasi, PM Modi’s schedule includes two major things: first, the inauguration of Arvind Limited’s new garment manufacturing facility. The facility is said to be a big move in the direction of uplifting India’s textile and clothing manufacturing ecosystem and promoting industrial growth in the region.
Based on the new way of manufacturing, the facility will create many employment opportunities, particularly for women, while contributing greatly to the region’s economic growth, the government said. This inauguration also shows Uttar Pradesh’s growing position as a place for industrial investment and manufacturing-focused growth.
Having a global customer base demonstrates how products manufactured in Varanasi will go all around the world. As a women-led initiative, this has become a symbol of women-led development.
After the inauguration, the Prime Minister will witness the Air Force Day Aerial Display-2026 at Namo Ghat in Varanasi. The Aerial Display program will mark the 94th anniversary of the Indian Air Force with the theme “Wings over Ganges”.
There are numerous aircraft taking part in the aerial display, such as the infamous Rafale, Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) Prachand, Su-30MKI, and Tejas, along with a few transport aircraft.
Aircrafts of the Indian Army and Indian Navy will also be taking part in the aerial display, showing teamwork and solidarity in operations. The Indian Air Force’s Premiere Display teams, Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team and the Sarang Helicopter Display Team, will also be participating in the event. The show will feature immaculate flying skills, perfect coordination and operational power.
