Actor Mukesh Bharti and his wife have received death threats during the shooting in Ghaziabad. It has been claimed to have met the threat Ravi Pujari gang. The couple has lodged a complaint with the police and investigation into the matter is ongoing.
Actor Mukesh Bharti, famous for his role in Ekta Kapoor’s TV show ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, has received death threats. Reports claim that he has received threats from some people claiming to be members of the Ravi Pujari gang. His wife, Manju Mukesh Bharti, a film producer and owner of Vivek Film Production House, was also reportedly targeted.
What is the whole matter?
According to police sources, Mukesh Bharti and his wife Manju Mukesh Bharti were in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh for the shooting of a film. During this time he started receiving threatening calls and messages. The caller allegedly identified himself as a member of the Ravi Pujari gang and asked Bharti to stop shooting for her film in the city. Later the threats increased and messages started appearing on social media threatening to kill Mukesh and his wife and even kidnap their son. After the incident, Mukesh Bharti and his wife approached Ghaziabad Police Commissioner J. Filed a formal complaint with Ravinder Gaur. The police took immediate action and registered an FIR and started investigation to find out the source of the calls and messages. Commissioner Gaur also assured to provide security to the couple during the investigation.
Ravi Pujari Gang is known for its history of extortion and threats against Bollywood celebs. In such a situation, the police is now examining the digital footprints and call records related to the threats to identify the people behind it.
