The second edition of News9 Global Summit 2025 has started from Thursday. On the occasion of this ongoing event in Germany, Gunnar Mey, CEO of Baden-Wurttemberg International GmbH (BW_i) said that thank you very much to all of you, I have just started this new responsibility last week, before that I was working in the field of exhibition for many years.

Baden-Wurttemberg companies will provide new opportunities in Maharashtra
Gunnar Mey said that he works with full enthusiasm along with his 100 colleagues in Baden-Wurttemberg. He said that our aim is to promote our state, to inspire international companies to invest here, and at the same time it is our priority to connect the companies and universities of Baden-Wurttemberg with new opportunities in countries like India, especially Maharashtra. He said that in February 2025, a big trade mission trip led by the Minister of Economic Affairs will be organized in Delhi, Pune and Mumbai.
What does Baden-Wurttemberg International do?
Gunnar Mey told that this is the main marketing agency of the state. Our main office is located in the center of Stuttgart, and we also have an office in China. In addition, we are part of the entire agency network of Baden-Württemberg. He told that we cooperate in scientific research. He also said that we organize delegations for both education and economy.
Baden-Wurttemberg hub for Indian companies
Gunnar Mey said that Baden-Wurttemberg is the hub of Indian companies, currently more than 70 Indian companies operate here. In some of which Germany also has partnership. He said that our aim is that more Indian companies should come to Baden-Wurttemberg and invest. He also told that many of you would know that our strength is research and development.
