Yesterday, bookings opened in North India for Namit Malhotra’s Ramayana, but tickets weren’t put on sale in South Indian markets. With bookings not opening in the Telugu states, some expected that ticket prices will be hiked for the mythological epic.
Well, advance bookings have now started to open in Nizam at existing prices (inclusive of 3D charges). Prasads Multiplex, Allu Cinemas, and AMB Cinemas have kicked off bookings for both the Telugu and Hindi versions at normal prices.
Very soon, other theatres are expected to join the party. 3D shows will be given the highest priority, which should come as no surprise. What will be interesting to watch is which version will end up getting more showcasing.
