Television actor Aman Gandhi, recently evicted from ‘Bigg Boss 20’, opened up about his journey, admitting he struggled to express his true personality on the show.
Many close to him, and even Aman himself, felt that the real ‘Aman’ was missing inside the house.
“I couldn’t express myself properly,” Gandhi shared. “My personality, as much as I know myself and as much as people know me, everyone said that Aman was missing somehow. I mean, the real Aman is not there. I was also sitting inside and thinking, ‘Aman, what you do, what people like about you, why are you not able to do that?’ I think too much pressure, a little bit of negativity, and a mix of a lot of things, it gets on your head, you don’t understand many times. Plus, so many things were happening inside. I couldn’t express myself properly.”
Aman was eliminated from ‘Bigg Boss 20’ within five weeks due to fewer votes, landing in the bottom three for the second consecutive week alongside Mary Kom and Uditi Singh. This season introduced a lifeline system, granting contestants two extra chances to avoid elimination, but Aman had already lost his first lifeline in an earlier voting round.
During his time in the house, wildcard contestant Nakul Dhull reportedly made unsettling remarks about Aman’s sexuality. Though Aman didn’t confront Nakul directly, he discussed the matter with other housemates, with some questioning his decision not to address it immediately.
