Actress Sonam Bajwa has celebrated one year of her film Ek Deewani Ki Deewaniyat, describing it as one of the most challenging yet rewarding projects of her career.

Marking the milestone on Instagram, Sonam thanked audiences for showering the film with love and contributing to its success. She shared a series of photographs featuring her co-star Harshvardhan Rane and filmmaker Milap Zaveri.

In her post, the actress wrote, “One year of ‘ek deewani ki DEEWANIYAT’ One of the most challenging films for me, but also one of the most rewarding. Thank you all for embracing this film with so much love and making it such a success. Forever grateful!”

Ek Deewani Ki Deewaniyat is a romantic drama directed by Milap Zaveri, who co-wrote the film with Mushtaq Shiekh. The film stars Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa in the lead roles and ranked as the 12th highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025.

The story follows a powerful politician who falls in love with a strong-willed superstar. Their passionate romance soon turns into a dangerous game of obsession, pride and heartbreak.

Following the film, Sonam was also seen in Border 2, an epic war drama co-written and directed by Anurag Singh. The film is a sequel to J. P. Dutta’s 1997 film Border.

Set against the backdrop of the 1971 India-Pakistan War, Border 2 depicts operations involving the Indian Armed Forces. The film stars Sunny Deol, alongside Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty, with Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Medha Rana and Anya Singh in pivotal roles.

Its narrative draws on five major military episodes from the war: the Battle of Manawar Tawi, the Battle of Basantar, the air defence of Srinagar, the naval engagement involving INS Khukri and the enemy air strikes under Operation Chengiz Khan.
