In a major revelation in the firing case involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff, preliminary questioning of the accused has indicated that the actor was not their original target, according to investigation sources.
The accused had allegedly planned to target another Bollywood celebrity but decided to target Tiger Shroff after failing to gain easy access to their intended target.
Investigators suspect that the accused learnt through social media reels posted by the actor’s fans that Shroff did not have police security. They allegedly monitored his activities and movements through videos and posts uploaded on his Instagram account and those of his fans before conducting reconnaissance.
During preliminary questioning, the accused reportedly revealed that the plan was to kill the actor with the intention of spreading fear in the Bollywood industry.
Police are currently verifying these revelations as part of the ongoing investigation into the firing incident.
