Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was seen at Mumbai’s Kalina Airport on Tuesday, surrounded by heightened security. This comes after a recent firing incident involving actor Tiger Shroff’s car in Juhu.
Khan arrived with his security detail, which escorted him to the terminal. Videos circulating online show the actor in casual attire, acknowledging paparazzi and fans briefly before entering the airport. This increased security is also noticeable outside his Galaxy Apartments residence in Bandra, with police personnel wearing bulletproof vests and police vehicles deployed.
According to Mumbai Police, the firing occurred around 7 pm on Sunday when Tiger Shroff was leaving a Juhu football club. The assailants targeted his car, injuring his driver. Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohit Garg confirmed that Shroff’s vehicle was indeed the target.
Mumbai Police have since arrested three suspects in Kota, Rajasthan, in connection with the incident. A local court granted a 48-hour transit remand, allowing the Maharashtra Police to bring them to Mumbai for further investigation and interrogation.
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited Tiger Shroff’s residence following the incident. He noted that Shroff sustained injuries to his left hand from gunpowder and glass fragments. Shinde assured the Shroff family of the state government’s full support, stating, “Strict action will be taken, and threats against public figures will not be tolerated.” The investigation is ongoing.
