Aadarsha Kutumbam has been postponed multiple times, and its co-producer Naga Vamsi has faced heavy trolling over his statements regarding the film’s release.
Even now, he has stopped short of officially announcing the new date, though he has indirectly indicated that October 30 is being considered.
The release of the second song, “Maala”, has further strengthened the indication that the Venkatesh and Trivikram Srinivas film is targeting an October 30 theatrical release.
But why should other films suffer because of the makers’ irresponsible and unprofessional planning?
Itlu Arjuna and Cult had announced their release dates well in advance, locking October 30 to give the Dasara releases a two-week window and leave enough room before the Diwali releases arrive.
Both films planned their releases based on the original schedule of Aadarsha Kutumbam, which was supposed to hit theatres on October 2.
Now, if the Venkatesh-starrer arrives on October 30, it could directly affect the prospects of these two films.
Vishwak Sen, however, appears determined to go ahead with Cult and continue its promotions irrespective of Venkatesh’s film.
The team of Itlu Arjuna is likely to wait and watch before making its next move.
