The makers of director Pavan Sadineni’s upcoming film Aakasamlo Oka Tara, starring Dulquer Salmaan and Satvika Veeravalli, released an inspiring teaser on Saturday, offering a glimpse of a story about ambition, determination and the courage to dream beyond limitations.
Production house Swapna Cinemas shared the teaser on its social media platforms with the caption, “The sweetest dreams are chased with love. Haven’t experienced this magic yet? Watch the #AOTTeaser now.”
The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 20.
The teaser introduces Kalpana, a brilliant student who secures the district’s first rank but faces discouragement from those around her, including her parents, who eventually get her married. Krishna, played by Dulquer Salmaan, enters her life and becomes a source of strength and encouragement.
Despite being told that she cannot even cross the boundaries of her village, Kalpana dreams of reaching space. Krishna shares her vision and motivates her to dream big, work hard and pursue her ambitions.
The teaser presents the film as an emotional story about overcoming social and personal barriers to achieve seemingly impossible goals.
Earlier this year, the makers marked Dulquer Salmaan’s birthday by releasing a new poster and confirming that he plays the character Krishna in the film.
Satvika Veeravalli was introduced as the female lead several months ago through a separate introduction video shared by Geetha Arts. The video opens with a child looking at the sky and asking how she can travel to space before introducing Satvika as a young woman from a rural background who dreams of becoming an astronaut.
In the introduction video, a man questions her ambition, pointing to the lack of roads in her village and challenging her to cross the village boundaries before aspiring to reach space. The sequence highlights the obstacles faced by the protagonist as she pursues her dream.
The film is produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam under the Light Box Media banner and presented by Geetha Arts and Swapna Cinemas.
The technical team includes two-time National Award winner G. V. Prakash Kumar, who has composed the music, cinematographer Sujith Sarang and National Award-winning editor K. L. Praveen.
With its focus on a young woman’s determination to reach beyond her circumstances, Aakasamlo Oka Tara explores themes of hope, self-belief and the power of encouragement.
