Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke shared a post featuring Shah Rukh Khan in his elderly look from the film Veer-Zaara after being released on Saturday.
Reflecting on his time in custody, Dipke wrote, “How it feels walking out of jail after 24 hours with no wifi and phone.”
Dipke was released after being granted bail by a Special Executive Magistrate. He was produced before the SEM of Mandir Marg police station.
Dipke was detained moments after he stepped out of his house in Delhi’s Jhandewalan area to participate in the CJP’s “Lehra Do Tiranga” protest at Connaught Place on Friday. Police served two notices to Dipke on Friday before the gathering at Connaught Place for the “Lehra Do Tiranga” march, and the moment he stepped out of his house, he was put under preventive detention.
He was later arrested on Saturday morning for allegedly violating a peace bond furnished by him on October 10.
