2026 Audi Q3 – Exterior highlights
New Audi Q3 has a heavily redesigned front fascia. While the LED DRLs are installed at the top, the main Digital Matrix LED units are mounted lower on the bumper. The headlights have their own washing system, ensuring clear visibility even when driving through wet or muddy conditions.
These headlights have over 25,600 individually controllable pixels per headlamp and can project critical ADAS information on the road such as orientation light and lane light.

This improves safety, as the info is displayed in the driver’s direct line of sight. New Audi Q3 has a large grille with a distinctive pattern for the honeycomb mesh. This styling approach extends to the lower bumper area as well. Along its sides, the 3rd-gen Audi Q3 has 18-inch alloy wheels with self-centring hubcaps. Other highlights include sleek roof rails, chrome window line, and body-coloured door handles and ORVMs.
Rear profile has also been refreshed, featuring edgy tail lamps and a separate full-width LED light bar. The four rings logo at the rear is illuminated. The SUV has a raked windshield and a roof-mounted spoiler. Dimensionally, Audi Q3 is 4,531 mm long, 1,859 mm wide and 1,601 mm tall. It has a wheelbase of 2,681 mm and a 488-litre boot space.
Interior features
Key highlights include a curved screen setup, comprising a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an 11.9-inch digital console. Another key update is a 4-spoke hexagonal-style steering wheel with mounted controls and Audi logo. The stalk on the right is for drive selection, whereas the one on the left has controls for the headlights, wipers and turn indicators, all squished into one.
This placement of the drive selector has helped declutter the centre console. Features available on the centre console include two cupholders, a wireless smartphone charger, an electronic parking brake, leatherette upholstery, front powered seats and more. Driver’s seat gets a memory function linked to ORVMs. 2026 Audi Q3 has a panoramic sunroof, a 3-zone climate control, a coloured head-up display (HUD), a powered tailgate and a 12-speaker Sonos audio system.
Safety kit includes 9 airbags, hill hold and hill climb assist, a rear parking camera and a range of ADAS features. Missing features with 3rd Gen Audi Q3 include 360-degree cameras, ventilated front seats, ventilated rear seats, rear sun blinds along with physical climate controls. Globally, Q3 can be had with larger wheels, but India-spec model max-out at 18-inches.
Performance
Powering the new-gen Audi Q3 is a 2.0-litre direct-injection turbo petrol engine that generates 204 hp and 320 Nm of torque. The SUV has AWD and is equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Among its rivals, Audi Q3 is the only one to offer AWD.
Top speed is rated at 229 km/h. The SUV takes 7.1 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. However, the absence of a diesel option remains a gap. Diesel engines still appeal to buyers in this segment, particularly those who regularly cover longer distances. The plug-in hybrid Q3 offered internationally could also have broadened the SUV’s appeal in India.
