The India National Cricket Team have suffered the third major injury blow in the ongoing fourth Test of the five-match series against the England National Cricket Team.
On Day 2 of the match, premier India pacer Mohammed Siraj walked off the field in discomfort at Old Trafford in Manchester on Friday, July 25.
Mohammed Siraj’s injury scare leaves India worried
India have been having a torrid time in the ongoing fourth Test match of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025 against the England National Cricket Team.
On Day 1, the star wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant injured his foot while batting, and later it was found out that his right foot was fractured.
Then, on Day 2, India suffered a double injury blow with the star pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj leaving the field in discomfort.
Just after bowling one over with the new second ball, Jasprit Bumrah left the field with an ankle/foot issue. Moments later, Mohammed Siraj was spotted leaving the field.
After bowling the 99th over of the innings, Siraj was having some trouble with his left ankle, and he hobbled off the field. He was seen climbing the stairs gingerly and was in significant pain.
