Television actor Niti Taylor has spoken about the physical abuse she allegedly faced in a past relationship. In a recent interview with Hauterrfly, the Bade Achhe Lagte Hain actor recalled how her ex-boyfriend would question her clothes, monitor where she went and try to control her choices. Niti Taylor also made a disturbing allegation about an incident in which he allegedly burned her with a cigarette. She said some of the scars from that period are still visible on her body.
Niti Taylor Recalls Her Ex-Boyfriend Pushing And Slapping Her
During her interview with Hauterrfly, Niti Taylor described her former partner as controlling. She recalled how he would question her whenever she wore short clothes or went somewhere with friends. At the time, she said, she was naive and would try to explain her decisions rather than recognise the behaviour for what it was. Niti Taylor also recounted an incident at her ex-boyfriend’s birthday party. She felt uncomfortable and decided to leave while her friends waited for her in a car. When she went to say goodbye, he allegedly refused to let her leave with them. “He stopped me and said that I wasn’t going anywhere with them. I told him that my friends would drop me home, but he refused to let me go. Things became frightening outside his house. He grabbed me, pushed me and slapped me,” she recalled. Niti Taylor further claimed that the incident was captured on the building’s CCTV cameras. She said her friends came upstairs to help her after the security guard reportedly told them that similar incidents had happened before.
Niti Taylor Says Her Ex-Boyfriend Burned Her With A Cigarette
Niti Taylor recalled that the situation continued even after she reached home. According to the actor, her ex-boyfriend questioned her about leaving the party with her friends. She alleged that he was smoking a cigarette during the confrontation and burned her with it. “I was crying after the incident,” Niti Taylor said while describing what happened. She also spoke about the marks left on her body and explained why the scars remain visible. “My skin is prone to developing keloids, which is why the scars became clearly visible,” she said. Known for her roles in television shows such as Ghulam, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and Ishqbaaaz, Niti Taylor has now shared details of an experience she says was deeply painful. Her account offers a glimpse into the controlling behaviour and alleged physical abuse she says she experienced in the relationship.
