Budget Control Is a Must for Nani’s Bloody Romeo

Nani and Sujeeth have teamed up for Bloody Romeo, and the film’s shoot is expected to begin after Dasara. Nani recently underwent a makeover and look test for his role as a gangster chef.

Produced by Venkat Boyanapalli, the film will be shot extensively in the UK, Delhi and Hyderabad.

Although a major portion of the film will be filmed in the UK, the overall budget is reportedly expected to remain under control.

Industry buzz suggests that Nani has asked Sujeeth to keep the budget in check and ensure that the production costs remain realistic. He reportedly wants the film to be financially viable for both the producer and the distributors.

Nani’s previous film, The Paradise, opened strongly and performed well in the Nizam region. However, its overall theatrical performance reportedly left distributors facing losses.

The film’s high budget and multiple delays are said to have become a major concern for the producer. Had the production costs been more reasonable, the strong opening weekend might have put distributors in a better position to recover their investments.

Instead, the film’s commercial outcome has raised questions about Nani’s image as a relatively safe bet for producers.

With Bloody Romeo, Nani reportedly wants to deliver a distinctive film in Sujeeth’s career without allowing production costs to spiral out of control.

The challenge is to make an ambitious film while keeping the budget realistic enough to give both the producer and distributors a fair chance of making profits.
