Mrunal Thakur has addressed speculation about her reported involvement in Allu Arjun and Atlee’s upcoming film “Raaka”, but has stopped short of confirming whether she is part of the project.
In a recent interview with HT City, the actress was asked directly if she was doing “Raaka”. Laughing, she replied, “The announcement of upcoming films, I will make it on social networking sites soon, so that we put a full stop to all these rumours.”
Her response neither confirms nor denies the reports, keeping the speculation about her possible association with the big-budget film alive.
Mrunal recently appeared in the OTT film “Pooja Meri Jaan”. Before that, she was seen in the Telugu film “Dacoit”. The actress has yet to officially announce her next project.
Meanwhile, Mrunal has also been linked to actor Dhanush in media reports, though neither has publicly confirmed a relationship.
“Raaka” is a big-budget film starring Allu Arjun and directed by Atlee. So far, the makers have officially announced only two cast members: Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone.
The names of Rashmika Mandanna, Mrunal Thakur and Janhvi Kapoor have been doing the rounds in connection with the project, but the makers have not issued any official statement about their involvement.
Mrunal’s latest response has added to the curiosity, but it offers no clear indication of whether she is part of the film.
