Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG: Exterior and Interior
The upcoming CNG version is expected to keep the same overall design as the regular Mahindra XUV 3XO. There don’t appear to be major changes to the exterior.
The cabin also looks similar to the standard model. It gets a dual-tone interior with cream and black colours. A 10.25-inch touchscreen sits in the centre of the dashboard. The leaked model also appears to have a single-pane sunroof. However, it may not get the larger panoramic sunroof available on some versions of the SUV.
Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG: Engine and Specifications
The biggest highlight of the new model is its dual CNG tank setup. The tanks are placed beneath the boot floor, which could help make better use of the available space inside the SUV.
The tanks are expected to have a combined capacity of around 60 litres, with approximately 8 kg of usable CNG. However, the final specifications will need to be confirmed at launch.
The leaked vehicle was also seen with a manual gearbox. Mahindra is likely to offer the CNG model with a manual transmission initially.
Under the hood, the XUV 3XO CNG is expected to use the same 1.2-litre MPFi petrol engine that is offered with the regular XUV 3XO. More details about its performance, mileage, variants and pricing are expected to be revealed during the official launch.
