Lorenzo Baldassarri renews with team Go Eleven for 2027 after strong SBK season

Lorenzo Baldassarri has sealed his commitment to the Go Eleven team by signing a contract extension through the 2027 World Superbike season.

Riding a Ducati Panigale V4-RS, Baldassarri joined the Italian squad this year and quickly proved his worth with two podium finishes, establishing himself as a consistent and fast contender.

The announcement confirms that Baldassarri will continue his development with the same team and machinery next season. “I’m really happy to renew with Team Go Eleven; we had to wait a bit to finalize the details, but I’ve been looking forward to this day for a long time,” said Baldassarri. Reflecting on his challenging past, he added, “I came from a difficult period where I lacked confidence and results, having changed teams, motorcycles, and categories. Go Eleven believed in me, and this season we achieved great satisfaction together. Big challenges lie ahead, but now we have a solid foundation on all circuits. I can’t wait to start another year with them!”

Gianni Ramello, team principal of Go Eleven, praised Baldassarri’s impact in 2026. “Lorenzo has shown speed and competitiveness, delivering many rewards for us,” Ramello stated. “He was my bet at the start of the year, and he has repaid that faith with one of our best SBK seasons ever. We simply couldn’t let him go after only one year, nor could we not renew for the next season. With another year together, I am confident he will improve further. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the team spirit is united and strong, thanks also to Lorenzo’s excellent character. We face big challenges in 2027, and we want to be ready. I also thank all our partners and sponsors for making this dream possible.”

Team manager Denis Sacchetti highlighted the strong chemistry within the team. “The connection we’ve built with Baldassarri this year is amazing. The harmony in the garage and mutual trust in our work are the key ingredients for continuing this relationship. It wouldn’t make sense otherwise,” Sacchetti said. “From the first race, Baldassarri surprised us and many others with his performances. With a full year of experience behind him, we believe 2027 will be even more exciting. We’re enthusiastic and motivated.”

Baldassarri and Go Eleven’s renewed partnership sets the stage for another compelling World Superbike campaign, with both rider and team poised to push Ducati’s Panigale V4-RS to new heights in the 2027 season.
