India Tour Australia: The Indian cricket team is currently playing a two-Test series against West Indies. Team India has won the first match of the series by an innings and 140 runs, while the second match is to be played from October 10 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
After this series the Indian team will tour Australia. India’s Australian tour will start with an ODI match in Perth on October 19. Whereas the last match of the tour will be played on 08 November at Gabba ground in Brisbane. The Indian team will first play a series of three ODI matches and after that both the countries will face each other in a series of five T20 International matches.
This tour of India is also important because the era of Shubman Gill will begin in ODIs. BCCI has taken the command of the ODI team from Rohit Sharma and handed it over to Shubman Gill. India’s last assignment under the leadership of Rohit Sharma was the Champions Trophy, which India won. This series will be a good opportunity for both India and Australia to prepare for the T20 World Cup to be held next year.
