Mumbai: Is Mrunal Thakur set to join Allu Arjun in Atlee’s ‘Raaka’? The actress has reacted to the speculation surrounding her reported casting in the highly anticipated film, hinting that an official announcement about her upcoming projects may soon put the rumours to rest.
When asked about her possible involvement in ‘Raaka’, Mrunal steered the conversation towards her latest release, Pooja Meri Jaan.
Reacting to the buzz around her upcoming projects, the actress laughed and said, “I like how you assume that I am doing Raaka. (Laughs).”
She added, “Right now the announcement of upcoming films, I will make it on social networking sites soon. So that we put a full stop to all these rumours.”
Mrunal said she is more interested in enjoying the journey of acting than worrying about the outcome of each project.
“I just want to say I want to enjoy the process. Because experiment is like aim, apparatus, observation, conclusion, that’s it. I don’t want to come to a conclusion where it did not work. For me, everything is you live and you learn,” she said.
The actress also hopes to be part of films that go beyond entertainment and leave a meaningful impact on audiences.
“And I would like to be a part of films that are not just challenging for me, but helps people get through their problems. And you know, make them more decisive and make them a better person,” she said.
Mrunal is also keen to explore romantic films and family dramas, drawing inspiration from some of her favourite Bollywood classics.
“I want to do more romantic and family dramas. I love Hum Saath Saath Hai, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, those kind of movies. I am trying to find a really nice script in Marathi and just surprise them one day,” she said.
