Putin’s praise for PM Modi
In early October, President Vladimir Putin lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a ‘balanced, wise and nationally oriented leader’, asserting that India would never allow itself to be humiliated under pressure.
Previously, on 17 September, Putin had extended birthday greetings to PM Modi on his 75th birthday, praising his ‘great personal contribution’ to strengthening the special and privileged strategic partnership between India and Russia.
