Actress Esha Deol extended a warm birthday wish to her former husband, businessman Bharat Takhtani, on behalf of their daughters, Radhya and Miraya, offering a glimpse into their cordial relationship following their separation.
On Monday, the Dhoom actress took to the Stories section of her official Instagram account to share a picture of Bharat and wish him well. Tagging his account, @bharattakhtani3, she wrote, “Happy birthday Dadaa. Stay blessed, happy, healthy & strong.” (sic)
Despite ending their marriage, Esha and Bharat appear to have maintained an amicable relationship while co-parenting their two daughters.
Bharat was also seen supporting Esha during a difficult period following the death of her father, legendary actor Dharmendra, in November last year.
In May this year, the former couple reunited for a friendly lunch with close friends. Actress Smriti Khanna, who attended the gathering, shared a photograph from the get-together, which Esha later reshared on social media.
The picture featured Esha and Bharat alongside actor Jackky Bhagnani, fitness coach Satya, Smriti Khanna, Gautam Khanna and other friends. The caption read, “Fun afternoon & top-tier gossip. Thank you Esha.”
Esha and Bharat married in 2012 in a traditional ceremony. In February 2024, they publicly announced that they had mutually and amicably decided to part ways after nearly 11 years of marriage, while requesting privacy.
Meanwhile, Bharat has recently drawn attention after sharing a photograph in which he appeared to pose romantically with a woman. He did not reveal her identity, prompting speculation about a new relationship.
