History Changed: Jantar Mantar Gets Denotified!

One of the culturally and historically significant locations in all of India is the Jantar Mantar region in New Delhi. Right from the freedom movement to several public agitations, this place held a significant position in the country’s history.

But this history is now being altered as the Delhi Police have made a pretty big communication on this matter today.

The Delhi Police have communicated that Jantar Mantar is no longer the designated place of protest, and it has been de notified from this position.

According to the latest confirmed reports, Delhi Police has denotified Jantar Mantar as a designated site for protests and named three new spots for holding such demonstrations, according to an official order.

Delhi Police Commissioner Anurag Kumar came in front of media and said Ramlila Maidan, Burari Ground and CBD Ground in east Delhi are the new designated sites for protests and demonstrations.

After decades of history, where some of the most iconic decisions in the Indian legislative system were made here, the Jantar Mantar has officially lost out on the protest site status today. This will go down as one of the major decisions made by the law enforcement agencies in history.
