Ravi Teja after a generational blockbuster like Irumudi, is joining forces with acclaimed filmmaker Vivek Athreya for a crime comedy, Thulabaram. Produced grandly by Laxman and Srini Rao, the film promises a refreshing blend of crime, drama, and unmatched entertainment. This unique combination is promising a complete paisa vasool entertainer on big screens.
The makers revealed the film’s title through an innovative and creative Title Documentary. The fun and chaotic announcement video showcases Vivek Athreya’s signature storytelling style while introducing a brand new avatar for the star. Striking off his long-standing Mass Maharaja tag, the video welcomes him as Crime Maharaja in a new chapter dubbed Nava Ravitejamu.
Thulabaram features an impressive ensemble cast, leading lady Priyanka Mohan as Krishnaveni, JD Chakravarthy as Sivaji Rao, and Tharun Bhascker as Devaraj. The quirky world features leading lady Anaswara Rajan as Sound, Anil Karella as Jadeja, and Ravi Anthony as Robin. Adding to the creative force, frequent collaborator Vivek Sagar will compose the film’s music.
The movie was grandly launched today with a pooja ceremony attended by several prominent industry figures. V V Vinayak handed over the script to the team, while Sree Vishnu sounded the clapboard. Chandu switched on the camera, My Home Ram unveiled the title, and directors Siva Nirvana and Bobby directed the first shot. Regular shooting of this intriguing film will commence shortly.
