Bollywood actress Nusrat Bharucha has taken to social media to share her first post following a spine injury she sustained while vacationing in Bali.
On Saturday, she posted a photo on Instagram featuring a reclining wheelchair with a stunning sunset visible through the window. In her post, she reflected on how time can dramatically alter a person’s reality, writing, “The picture is not over yet, my friends.”
Nusrat was on holiday in Bali when she suffered a fracture in her spine due to an accident. She was later airlifted to Mumbai for spinal surgery.
Prior to her post, Nusrat’s publicist released an official statement confirming that the actress is under medical supervision. The statement also noted that all of Nusrat’s work commitments have been paused for the time being. “Considering the injury and surgery, Nusrat will need time to rest and recover, and her work may be affected in the coming weeks. We request everyone to respect her privacy during this time and allow her the space to focus on her treatment and recovery. We appreciate all the concern and well wishes and will provide updates at the appropriate time.”
