Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo’s presence in Ranabaali has generated interest, particularly because the internationally recognised actor plays a crucial antagonist in the film.
Vosloo portrays a British officer set against the backdrop of the pre-Independence era.
With his association with the popular The Mummy franchise, his casting has been one of the talking points surrounding the project.
Naturally, there has been curiosity over whether Vosloo would travel to India and participate in the promotional campaign for Ranabaali.
The makers were reportedly keen to have the actor attend a pre-release event and be part of the film’s promotions.
His presence would have added considerable attention to the promotional activities, given his international recognition and his role in the film.
However, sources indicate that bringing Arnold Vosloo to India for the promotions was not possible due to visa-related challenges and his dates’ constraints.
Despite efforts from the team, the actor’s dates and visa formalities reportedly made the visit difficult to arrange.
Ranabaali is now gearing up for its theatrical release on October 16, with the film’s promotions continuing without Vosloo’s physical presence.
