Sharad Kelkar Gets Heartwarming Birthday Surprise as Daughter Kesha Sings ‘My Favorite Guy’ for Him

Actor Sharad Kelkar received a special birthday surprise from his daughter, Kesha Kelkar, who dedicated a heartfelt song titled ‘My Favorite Guy’ to him as he celebrated his birthday on October 7.

Adding to the emotional significance of the gesture, Kesha lent her own voice to the track, making it a personal musical tribute to their father-daughter bond.

Sharad shared the poster of ‘My Favorite Guy’ on his official social media handle. The poster features the actor embracing Kesha and kissing her on the forehead, capturing a tender moment between the two.

Expressing his love and gratitude for the thoughtful gift, Sharad described it as the best present he could have received. In his Instagram post, he wrote, “What’s even more heartwarming is the way it captures the father-daughter bond. The best ever gift ❤️ love you kesha ❤️❤️.”

On the professional front, Sharad will next appear in the upcoming rural horror film ‘Kaali Kheti’, which also features veteran actor Jackie Shroff and Neha Sargam in significant roles.

The makers recently announced that the film will arrive in cinemas on October 23, 2026.

Written and directed by Haris Imtiyaz Khan, ‘Kaali Kheti’ is produced by Sana Khan under the banner of BlackCanvas Studio. Set against a rural backdrop, the film explores a world where family, legacy and buried truths combine to create an unsettling tale of fear.

Speaking about the film’s concept, director Haris Imtiyaz Khan said the project examines agriculture through the lens of horror, offering a fresh and disturbing perspective.

“For me ‘Kaali Kheti’ is about examining agriculture through the lens of horror. Something I hadn’t seen before. Something that felt fresh, exciting and also deeply disturbing. The film is mirror to society, only the reflection exists in a scary and fantastical world,” he said.

He added that the film’s unsettling atmosphere draws on the familiarity of a world that can also seem difficult to understand.

“Sometimes this world doesn’t make sense but always feels strangely familiar. Perhaps that is the true horror,” the director said.
