In an interesting move, Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 has been granted a ticket rate enhancement in Andhra Pradesh for a period of seven days, from October 15 to October 21. Five shows are allowed per day as per the new G.O.
The fare in single screens has been increased by Rs. 50/- (enhanced rate: Rs. 197.5), while the hike is Rs. 75/- in multiplexes (enhanced rate: Rs. 252). The latest development has already started discussions on social media. Sun Pictures bankrolled Jailer 2 on a massive budget.
The biggie, directed by Nelson, also features Vidya Balan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Mirnaa, Ramya Krishnan, Mithun Chakraborty, and others in key roles. Mohanlal, Hrithik Roshan, Shiva Rajkumar, and Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in special cameos. Anirudh is composing the music.
