The government has taken such a big decision related to his health, which was waiting for years. Now getting treatment on government health cards (CGHS) will be easier than ever. The government has changed the old rates of treatment which had been going on for the last 15 years. There were many problems due to these old rates. The government has released new rates of 2,000 medical packages. These packages will be applicable everywhere from October 13. With this decision of the government, the employees will no longer have to pay money from their pockets for treatment and will not have to wander from rate to rate.
Now the arbitrariness of hospitals will end
The biggest problem so far was that when an employee or pensioner used to go to a big private hospital with his CGHS card, the hospitals often refused to treat cashless treatment. They used to say that the money that is received from the government is very less, so you first deposit the entire money from your pocket, later keep taking from the government. In this affair, the sick man or his family had to arrange a large amount for treatment. Then the government offices had to go round for months to get that money back. Now the government has increased the rate, which will stop this excuse of hospitals and they will have to be treated on the card itself.

What are the changes in the new rates?
- Tier-II cities will be 19% lower than the base rate.
- Tier-III cities will be 20% lower than the base rate.
- NABH Acradated Hospital will provide services at base rate only.
- Non-NABH hospitals will have to be treated at 15% lower rates.
- Treatment in super-specialty hospitals with more than 200 beds will be 15% more expensive.
Treatment money will be received according to city and hospital
The new rule that the government has made this time is very straightforward and simple. Now the rate of treatment for every city and every hospital will not be the same. Consider it as in big cities like hospitals Delhi, Mumbai, the rate of treatment will be slightly higher. Those who are in small towns, there are little less and in small cities, there has been less money for treatment.
Along with this, there has been a difference in hospitals.
