Rs 13 Lakh SUV Gets Cheaper By Rs 1.5 Lakh

Planning to buy a big SUV this festive season? A popular SUV that starts at around Rs. 12 lakh is now available with benefits of up to Rs. 1.5 lakh this festive season. However, the highest savings are not on every variant. Here are the ones you get, and what you need to know before booking.

The SUV in question is the Mahindra Scorpio N. Ahead of Navratri, Dussehra, and Diwali, Mahindra dealers are offering festive benefits on the SUV, and the amount varies by variant.

The highest benefit is on the Z8L and Z8T 4WD AT variants. Buyers get a cash discount of Rs. 1.25 lakh along with accessories worth Rs. 25,000, taking the total benefit to Rs. 1.5 lakh. The 2WD AT variant gets a cash discount of Rs. 50,000 and accessories worth Rs. 25,000, a total benefit of Rs. 75,000. The Mahindra Scorpio N is currently priced between Rs. 13.69 lakh and Rs. 25.49 lakh (ex-showroom), excluding the discount.

This Mahindra SUV recently received a mid-life update, bringing new features and tech to make it more competitive in the segment. The cabin gets new features, including a panoramic sunroof, larger screens, a 540-degree camera with blind-spot monitor, and a 65W USB Type-C fast charger for the front passengers. It also gets an Adventure Statistics display that shows off-road data such as roll and pitch angles, altitude, and G-force. The top-spec Z8L variant gets Level 2 ADAS, which includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, and traffic sign recognition. This variant gets the highest festive benefit.

A 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a  2.2-litre diesel engine power the SUV. Both engines are paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. The Scorpio N takes on the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV 7XO, MG Hector Plus, and Hyundai Alcazar.
