According to the IMD, a major change in weather will be seen in North India from Monday and temperature may fall by 4-5 degrees Celsius from October 8. In addition, cyclonic circulation has become active in Jammu and Kashmir and surrounding areas, causing snowfall in areas with rain, hailstorm and height.

Western disturbance will see effect

The effect of western disturbance will be seen till Himachal and Uttarakhand. There will be heavy rains in high areas, which will drop the temperature and start feeling cold. According to IMD, this western disturbance is the first major system of this season, which will completely change the weather of North India. Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh are expected to have heavy rain with thunderstorms and strong winds of 40-50 kmph till October 7. However, the rain will decrease after Tuesday. From October 9, the weather will be dry and night temperature will start falling continuously.
