New Honda Elevate: All Changes Explained

The Elevate was long overdue for a facelift; it’s finally here, with an updated feature list and revised styling. But are these updates enough to help the Elevate make a stronger case for itself in the segment? Let’s find out!

Honda Elevate Design Changes

The design hasn’t changed much; however, a few styling tweaks help distinguish the facelift from the previous one. The front grille is new, and the Honda logo now sits on the bonnet instead of the grille. You get new segmented DRLs, body-coloured fog lamp housing, and a light bar between the two headlights, which give it a more rugged appeal. The rear gets only one change: a new connected taillight. A new exterior colour, Nordic Forest Pearl, has been added, bringing the total to seven monotone and three dual-tone options.

New Features

It’s no secret that the Elevate’s feature list lagged behind its rivals. Still, Honda has worked on that and updated the Elevate with some much-needed new features like:

In the SV Trim

Ivory-black dual-tone cabin theme, premium roof liner and black fabric seat upholstery.

In the V Trim

Rear disc brakes (CVT only), electric parking brake (CVT only), auto brake Hold (CVT only), front & rear USB Type-C ports.

In the VX Trim

Connected tri-bar LED lighting, connected LED taillights, ambient lighting, and a PM 2.5 AQI display with an auto-clean air function.

In the ZX Trim

Ventilated front seats, perforated leather seats (Ivory colour), 17-inch alloy wheels with a dark-clear finish, Honda Sensing ADAS suite (new Low-Speed Follow feature), gloss-black interior garnish, soft-touch cabin trim.

In the ZX+ Trim (new for 2026)

8-way powered driver’s seat, 4-way powered front passenger seat, rear ventilated seats, 360-degree camera, front parking sensors.

Other features carried over from the outgoing version include the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, a single-pane sunroof, Level-2 ADAS, a seven-inch digital-analogue driver’s display, six airbags, and more.

Powertrain

Unfortunately, and rather surprisingly, this update brings no mechanical changes. We expected Honda to launch the Elevate hybrid this time with the City’s powertrain, but it didn’t.

As a result, the 2026 Elevate continues with the 1.5-litre four-cylinder NA petrol engine (119 bhp & 145 Nm of torque). Power is sent only to the front wheels, via a 6 MT or a 7-step CVT. With the CVT, the Elevate delivers a claimed mileage of 16.61 km/l, which is more than the manual’s 15.3 km/l.

2026 Honda Elevate Pricing

The updated Honda Elevate is priced between Rs. 14.02 lakh and Rs. 21.78 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Compared to the outgoing model, the starting price is almost the same, but the new top-spec ZX+ Black trim has pushed the top-end price up by nearly Rs. 1.6 lakh (approx.).
