Dupe Shoots All Day, Hero Gives Close-Ups and Leaves

There is some interesting gossip doing the rounds about a big-budget film starring a top hero. Apparently, an entire day of shooting was recently carried out with a body double instead of the hero himself.

What has reportedly surprised the unit is that these were not even particularly risky or action-heavy sequences that would normally require a duplicate.

The scenes allegedly involved mostly regular portions and close-ups, leaving some members of the team wondering why the hero was not present for the full shoot.

According to whispers from the unit, the body double was used for most of the day, while the hero reportedly turned up only to complete his close-up shots before leaving.

This has apparently left some crew members less than thrilled, with a few even joking that “there’s no fun in shooting like this without the hero being present.”

Of course, there could be practical reasons behind the decision, including scheduling constraints or other production requirements. However, some within the unit are reportedly not entirely convinced by that explanation.

For a film involving a major star and a huge budget, the team and co-artistes naturally expect to perform extended scenes with the hero rather than a body double.

And this particular body-double episode has certainly given the unit plenty to talk about.
