Box Office: Charan’s Peddi Holds Well On Monday

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s rural action drama Peddi has successfully passed the crucial Monday test, strengthening its box-office momentum.

After an impressive opening weekend, the film continued its good run on its fifth day, registering strong collections for a weekday and proving that audience interest remains intact.

Peddi held well in the Telugu states, where footfalls remained strong. Occupancy for the first and second shows was particularly encouraging in both states, reflecting the film’s wide appeal among a section of the audience.

According to trade estimates reported by Sacnilk, Peddi collected approximately Rs 12.05 crore net in India on Day 5, its first Monday in theatres.

The film has so far collected Rs 248.92 crore worldwide gross, including Rs 201.92 crore gross from India and Rs 47 crore from overseas. Its India net collection stands at Rs 169.70 crore.

The positive word of mouth generated over the weekend appears to have translated into strong weekday admissions.

The solid Monday performance is a healthy indicator of the film’s staying power at the box office.

With audience response remaining positive and collections holding steady beyond the opening weekend, Peddi looks set for a long and successful theatrical run.
